REMINDER: CHANGES TO FSA’s EFFECTIVE – LIST OF ELIGIBLE ITEMS
This is a reminder to those members who currently accept Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA) and want to continue to do so should have their IRS required Information Inventory Approval System (IIAS) in place as of January 1, 2008. As a result of IRS Notice 2006-69, consumers will expect that by using their debit cards the transaction will be automatically substantiated at the point of sale and they will no longer have to file a separate claim.
