MDFA MISSION STATEMENT

The Midwest Dairy Foods Association was established:

To associate together persons, firms, corporations or organized groups interested or engaged in the dairy business; and to encourage the development of high standards of quality for the production, processing and distribution of dairy industry products. 

Additionally, to foster and develop effective communication, good will and cooperation among the dairy industry including processors, industry suppliers, haulers and producers of the states of Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.

To provide legislative, regulatory, and when appropriate academic representation on the issues affecting the dairy industry; and to develop positive working relationships with those legislators, regulators and educators in these states.

To serve as a source of information for both the industry and the public; and thus serve to promote the industry; and to give proper consideration and expression of opinion of issues affecting the industry that are consistent with the public interest and the industry interest.

To provide opportunities for networking, training and education.

Finally, to assist with the improvement of the businesses of its members.
