Box Lunches

Throughout the school year, RCSPA sells box lunches that we order from area restaurants.  Every week that the Cultural Arts School is in session, there is a selection of box lunches from which to choose.  Just place your order at the RCSPA table in the cafeteria, & your lunch will be available for pick-up at 12:20pm, just as the children's language classes end.  Lunchtime in the cafeteria is a fun time for children as well as parents, as everyone socializes with friends & classmates.

If you would like to know the dates that lunch service is available, just go to the left-hand menu & click on "Calendars & Events," & look at the school calendar.

The person behind the improved & expanded lunchtime service is RCSPA Co-Vice President in Charge of Services, Ms. Agnes Kiang.  Many thanks to her for her years of hard work & dedication!

Help RCS - Use eScrip!
Here's How You Can Help
Do you shop at Safeway?  If so, please sign up for the Safeway Club for Education.  It's quick; it's easy; & there's no additional cost to you.  The Safeway Club for Education helps your children & our school.  Every time you shop at Safeway & use your Safeway card, our school gets 6% of the money you spend!

To register online for Safeway go to www.escrip.com.  If you have previously registered, select "Click here to renew."
If you are registering for the first time, click on the "eScrip Welcomes Safeway" box & follow the directions. Our group ID for Safeway is  151237990.  Remember: Your Safeway Club card numbers can be found on your card; your phone number doesn't work for registration purposes.

The eScrip website also has coupons & other ways to help raise money for our school.

If you have a Macy's card, please register it at eScipt.  Macy's will give us 6%!

If you have any questions, please email Catherine Uitz (xia@uitz.com) or Teri Huet (terianne_usa@yahoo,com).

Thank you for your support of our school !

Inkjet Cartridge Recycling
Another Way to Benefit RCS

Please bring your empty inkjet cartridges to RCS, either black & white cartridges or color cartridges.  When we send them in for recycling, the company pays RCSPA.  We use this money to fund school programs.

Please bring your empty cartridges to the RCSPA table in the cafeteria.  There's an empty box waiting to accept your cartridges!

Purchase Your Phone Cards Here
Call Home & Benefit RCS at the Same Time

YES, you can buy phone cards from RCSPA!  We sell them at the RCSPA table in the cafeteria, right next to the lunch order line.  A $25 phone card will cost you $20.  Remember, the phone cards expire within 6 months of activation, so phone home often!

RCSPA Fruit Sales
Delicious, Nutritious & Wholesome Food!

Fresh, sweet & succulent fruit -- navel oranges, honeybells, tangelos & grapefruit -- direct from Florida orchards ... Mmmmm.  And you can get these wonderful fruits at RCS!

Ripe, juicy fruits are plucked from trees in Florida orchards & loaded into trucks.  And then the drivers bring them straight to RCS.

From November / December through March, you'll find monthly fruit sales at RCS, organized by Ms. Agnes Kiang of the Services Committee.

A Familiar Face at RCS
Keeping the School Running Smoothly
A familiar face greets everyone who enters Rockville Chinese School.  Here is Mr. Dan Donahoe, one of RCSPA's vice-presidents in charge of Security & Logistics.  Mr. Donahoe works hard to keep the school running smoothly behind the scenes.  Besides patrolling the halls, he creates CDs of lessons for the teachers to distribute to students.  Mr. Donahoe's daughter attends one of RCS' pinyin classes.
