Homeless Animals

I love animals and I feel for all the domestic animals who don't have their special ones to take care of them.  Animals are so helpless in our human world; if we don't take care of them, they are left to starve and live in fearful, lonely, and unsafe lives.  I resent people who are cruel to animals; they should not be abused.  If you can't take care of and love animals, don't try to own one.

If I had enough resources, I'd open up a no-kill pet shelter and hire people to take care of them.  It might seem inhumane and cruel to neuter pets, but with this society, I realized why animal organizations always advocate neutering pets.  Without it, the population of the pets will exceed (even more) the care available to take care of each pet.  I feel bad at first that Cola is neutered, as I thought it would be so nice to pass on his genes as he's good looking, smart, and has a good personality.  But, then, I can't guaratee that all his offsprings will find good homes to go to, and his offsprings might then not be as lucky as Cola.  So, if your pet is not neutered and you are not a breeder, please consider neutering your pet.

Humane Society of Canada Pet Recovery Team

This is a website I newly discovered and I registered Cola in their database.  You might want to register your pet, also, if you have one.  They serve all of North America and if your pet ever becomes lost, Humane Society of Canada Pet Recovery Team will try to reunite you and your pet through their special network.

After you register with them, they'll send you a free dog I.D. with your pet's name and your contact number on the front side, and a special serial number in the back.  You also have an option to upload a digital picture of your pet toward the end of registration.

To find out more about this service and/or their organization, please visit their website.
