Mom and Dad left for Grandma's funeral today.  I hope they have a safe and pleasant trip, despite the fact that they had to take a shuttle to Philly first and then a bus to NYC before they can even board a plane.  Poor Mom has to spend her birthday on the airplane.  That sucks.

I applied to several job positions today.  Felt a bit accomplished but not sure if they'll call me back as none of them were dead-on match for me.  Oh, well; at least I tried.
