2005 Journal with Daily Bushisms Quotes
I VOTED, DID YOU?!
Bushism of the Day 267
Tuesday, November 8, 2005

Today was Election Day.  I got to vote for mayor and city council for my town.  I did that after I got home from work.  I actually changed my vote right before going inside the voting facility.  There were some campaign workers in front of the building and I was giving sample ballots and pamphlets from both sides.  Something on one of the pamphlet made me steer to the other way.  I was surprised.  I guess those pamphlets do work; I used to think why do they hand those out anyway since most people knew who they were going to vote for before going, anyway.  I just like to vote, to be honest, and I am glad I did.

"I do not agree with this notion that somehow if I go to try to attract votes and to lead people toward a better tomorrow somehow I get subscribed to some -- some doctrine gets subscribed to me."
