Everytime we take Cola to Pet Smart, Petco, or anywhere he might see other dogs, he would always steer us toward a different direction.  He never wants to go near other dogs.  Today, we took him to Petco and we saw this little white dog just a little bigger than Cola.  The dog saw Cola and started whining and barking at Cola.  Cola backed up at first, not wanting to "get involved".  But the other dog persisted and after a while, Cola decided to bark back.  When Cola barks, he barks.  He barked louder and longer than the other dog.  He sounded a lot more strong than the other dog that the other dog backed up and stopped barking.  The owner of the other dog talked to us while the two dogs were barking at each other.  After a while, he walked his dog away and we did the same.  To my surprise, Cola wanted to go back and find the dog.  We let him lead us to the dog and he started barking at the dog again.  It was so funny.  It was the first time that Cola wanted to go near another dog.  I wish there was a playground in the store we could just let them lose.  I bet they'd have played together and made good friends.
