Four Web Page Content Building Blocks

Building Blocks Description
Task Category: Task Category block represents a grouping consists of a single or multiple issues or tasks. Category title defines the name for the grouping. When creating a task at Issue/Task List, the category must be created first.
Task Item Task Item represents issue and task information.
Task Follow Up Message: Task Follow-up Message is the follow-up information posted by assigned task owner via WYSIWYG editor.

There is a hierarchical relationship among these 3 content building blocks:
Issue/Task Category (Highest) --> Issue/Task Item --> Issue/Task Follow-up Message (Lowest)

  • A Task Category contains many Task Items.
  • A Task Item contains many Task Follow-up Messages.
Click Add Category to add a new task category.
Issue/Task Category Form will pop up on screen to collect category information.

Click Create a New Task to add a new task or issue.
Bulletin Form will pop up on screen to collect bulletin topic information.

Click Follow-up to post task follow-up message.
Issue/Task Follow-up Form will pop up on screen to collect content data.

Click Choose Another Category to view a list of the task categories.

Click List Other Topics to view a list of tasks under a particular category.

Click Printer Friendly Version to retrieve a printer friendly version of the page.

For each building block, the following operations can be performed:

  • Click to insert a task category.
  • Click to edit.
  • Click to delete.
  • Click to broadcast a task to certain member groups.
  • Click to post the notes.
  • Click to move up.
  • Click to move down.
